Saturday is always the best day of the week in my opinion, and adding in some golf and drinking games just makes it that much better.

Me and my friends love to get together and play a few rounds on the local course, and we always make sure to bring along plenty of drinks.

We usually start out with a few rounds of Beer Bogey, which is always a lot of fun. Then we move on to Closest to the Pin challenge, and whoever loses that has to take a shot.

Even and Odd is another one of our favorites, because it doesn’t really matter how good you play, everyone still has to drink. And Mulligan is always a great option for those who want to limit their drinking.

Our favorite drinks to bring along are beer and whiskey, but you can really bring whatever you want. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take care of your clubs and the course around you.

We wouldn’t want one of these alcohol-fueled golfing games to get you banned from your local course.

Also, make sure you have a sober driver or an Uber to get you home safely. Nothing more shameful than a golfer getting a DUI!

10 Golfing Drinking Games I Love

Some people think the only way to have fun while playing golf is to take it seriously and score as low as possible. But there are plenty of other ways to enjoy yourself on the course, and one of the most popular is by playing drinking games.

Drinking games are a great way to add some extra excitement to your game, and they can be a lot of fun whether you’re playing with friends or family.

If you’re looking for some new drinking games to try out on the golf course, here are a few of my favorites:

1. The Longest Drive

The Longest Drive

This game is simple – whoever hits the longest drive on each hole gets to take a drink. This is a great way to keep things competitive (and boozy) while playing. Make sure everyone agrees on what counts as a “long drive” before you tee off.

2. The Closest To The Pin

This is another perfect game for adding a little competition to your round. Whoever hits their ball closest to the pin on each hole gets to take a drink. Again, make sure you agree on the rules before you start playing.

Some people like to play with a “gimme” rule, where you automatically get the drink if your ball is within a certain distance of the hole.

3. The Alphabet Game

This is a great game for larger groups. Each person takes turns hitting their ball, and whoever hits the last shot starts calling out letters of the alphabet. The next person then has to hit their ball starting with that letter.

If they miss, they have to take a drink. This continues until someone makes it through the alphabet without missing.

4. The MostHonest Game

The MostHonest Game

This is a fun game perfect for those who like to have a few drinks while playing. The rules are simple – everyone starts at 0, and you add a point each time you hit a bad shot. Whoever has the most points at the end of the round has to buy everyone else a drink.

5. The Least Honest Game

This is the opposite of the “Most Honest” game, and it’s perfect for those who want to have a few laughs while playing. Again, everyone starts at 0, but you add a point each time you hit a good shot.

Whoever has the most points at the end of the round buys everyone else a drink.

6. The Spoons Game

This is a fun game that’s perfect for those who want to add some luck to their round. The rules are simple – each player gets one spoon, and whoever hits their ball into the water must hand over their spoon to the person who hit it after them.

The last person left with a spoon at the end of the round wins.

7. The Circle Game

The Circle Game

This is another great game for larger groups. The rules are simple – each person takes turns hitting their ball, and whoever hits the last shot starts drawing a circle in the sand around their ball.

The next person then has to hit the ball into that circle. If they miss, they have to take a drink. This continues until someone makes it around the circle without missing.

Remember, golf is not just about the game itself, but also the experiences and personalization you can add to make it even more enjoyable!

8. The Bouncing Ball Game

This fun game is perfect for those who want to add physicality to their round. The rules are simple – each player gets two balls, and they have to bounce one of them on the ground before hitting it.

If they miss, they have to take a drink. The first person to make it through the round without missing wins.

9. The One-Putt Challenge

This is a great game for those who want to test their putting skills. The rules are simple – each player gets one putt per hole, and if they miss, they must take a drink. The first person to make it through the round without missing wins.

10. The Straightest Drive Challenge

The Straightest Drive Challenge

This is a great game for those who want to test their driving skills. The rules are simple – each player gets one drive per hole, and if they hit it out of bounds, they have to take a drink.

The first person to make it through the round without hitting out of bounds wins.

My Las Vegas golf bachelor party was one for the books! My friends and I indulged in a lot of golf drinking games while on the course and had a blast doing it. We were definitely feeling the effects of the alcohol by the end of the round, but it was so worth it.

We kicked things off by playing a game of beer pong on the first tee box. We then played a few rounds of drunk golf, which is basically just normal golf but with a lot more laughs and mistakes.

We also played some crazy variations of golf, like one where you have to putt into a cup of beer that’s set on the green.

We also got into a bit of gambling- betting each other on our performance and taking shots when we lost. By the end of the day, we were all pretty drunk and exhausted but it was an incredible time.

I’m so glad my friends talked me into doing a Las Vegas golf bachelor party- it’s definitely something I’ll never forget!

Conclusion

These are just a few drinking games you can play on the golf course. So get out there and start enjoying yourself! And remember, always drink responsibly. If you don’t drink, that’s okay too.

You can still have fun on the golf course without alcohol. Just be sure to agree on the rules before you start playing. You can also substitute with water or soda if you’re not of drinking age or trying to stay sober for the day. Have fun and be safe!
